The webinar, Understanding Qualitative Research, was aimed at deepening understanding of the qualitative research approach. Held between 19:00 GMT and 21:00 GMT on July 23, 2020, the event shed light on the philosophical foundations of qualitative research, principles guiding the conduct of qualitative research, methods for collecting qualitative data, and data validity and reliability in qualitative research. The number of participants for the session was eighty-five (85). At the end of the presentation, the webinar instructor, Dr. Stephen Afranie, a senior lecturer at the Centre for Social Policy Studies (CSPS), University of Ghana, responded to questions asked by the participants.
